## Abstract Die beiden für 2‐Hydroxy‐3.5.6‐trimethyl‐benzochinon‐(1.4) (**3**) beschriebenen Synthesemethoden^2‐4)^ führen nicht zu identischen Produkten. Dieser Widerspruch wird aufgeklärt. Außerdem wird 2‐Amino‐3.5.6‐trimethyl‐benzochinon‐(1.4) (**10**) synthetisiert. Beim Versuch, 2‐Hydroxy‐5.6‐
