Abstract

Durch Abbau von Methyl‐pteridinrot mit Ozon wurden als Spaltstücke 2‐Amino‐6‐oxy‐pteridin‐9‐carbonsäure (IV) und Methyl‐isoxanthopterin (V) erhalten. Daraus ergibt sich für Methyl‐pteridinrot die Formel III.

## Abstract Das früher beschriebene Methyl‐pteridinrot wurde zu einer Tetrahydro‐Verbindung reduziert. Durch Oxydation eines Gemisches von 9‐Methyl‐2‐amino‐6‐oxy‐pteridin und 2‐Amino‐6‐oxy‐pteridin durch Luftsauerstoff konnte ein dem Methyl‐pteridinrot analoges Pigment (Pteridinrot) erhalten werden
