The authors describe the incorporation of radioactive aminoacids into microsomes from Drosophila melafiogaster (P.upae). Enzymatic incorporation can only be shown after inhibition of a very active tyrosinase, which is present in the micro-soma1 fraction, by phenylthiourea. The system has the follow
