the present findings agree well with those of T. P. HiZditch and H. C. DzinnB and K. C. Pate1 et aL8. This agreement is evidently due to the same technique of spectrophotometry used by all these investigators. T h e divergence in the case of saturated acids are apparently due to the accuracy of the
