## Abstract The pyrophoric products obtained from the alkalimetals lithium, sodium, potassium, rubidium, and cesium with carbon monoxide in liquid ammonia are shown to be mixtures of the metal acetylene diolates, MOC  COM, with an organometallic compounds, the possible structures of which are disc
