## Abstract Some twenty‐six isonicotinic acid hydrazides substituted in the pyridine ring by hydrocarbon groups or by functional substituents, such as hydroxy, chlorine, alkoxy, and amino, were synthesized according to conventional methods and tested for their antitubercular action.
