## Abstract On the basis of new degradation work it is shown that Marinobufagin is 3β,5‐Di‐hydroxy‐14β, 15β‐epoxy‐5β‐bufa‐20,22‐dienolide. At the same time the structure of the degradation products, which were described in our previous communication on this subject, could be elucidated.

Arenobufagin, das Hauptbufogenin der sudamerikanischen Krote Bwfo arenamm HENSEL, wurde als Acetylverbindung rnit KMnO, in Aceton oxydiert, wobei saure und neutrale Abbauprodukte erhalten werden konnten. Die rohen Sauren wurden nach Veresterung mit Diazomethan an A1,0, chromatographisch aufgeteilt u
