✦ Synopsis

A series of T&Beta zeolites with different titanium contents were investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Analysis of the Ti(2p) peaks from the Ti-Beta samples and comparison with the spectra obtained for two naturally occurring titano-silicates gave information on the chemical environment of the titanium atoms in the samples.
