A concenrrated Co(II) solutions it11 a Cl-/Coz+ ratio of ~4 ~'a< examined by S-ray diffrdctton. The Fourier-tr~nsforlll~d scattering data indicated inner complex formation bet\ een Co '+r\ndCl-ions.The overallcoordination ofCo2+ionsisver> close to 6 and the average number of bonded Cl-ions per cobalt atom 1x3s found to be near]\ 1. The zimilkr\ of rhis result to the one obtained from n solution of NICIZ of equalconcentration isdiscusscd. Thisresult wxalso checked through EXAFS measurements.
