Abstract
With a Varian (IEE‐15) electron spectrometer the valence band photoelectron spectra and the binding energies of inner‐core electrons are measured for palladium‐silver alloys. For the nickel–copper alloys the photoelectron spectra known from literature are compared with the results of density‐of‐state calculations. K~β2,5~ emission bands of pure nickel and pure copper and from the alloy Ni–Cu (50 at%Cu)are also reported.
