All in all, this is a meagre contribution to knowledge, a contribution reflected in the pitiful one-page index. To assert the authority of the series but to deliver so little invites attack. There is not enough here to deliver on the promise of the editors of the series, although some of the papers, with a little sharpening, might have made useful journal articles.
