✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A wideband antenna for DCS‐1800, PCS‐1900, WCDMA/IMT‐2000, WLAN, and TD‐SCDMA indoor applications is presented. The antenna consists of two half circle shaped radiating patches, a feeding ground and a reflector ground. The coupling between two patches is considered in the design of the antenna. The two patches are fed with 90° phase difference, which leads to down‐tilted radiation patterns when the antenna is mounted on a wall. A prototype is constructed and tested. Simulated and measured results are given. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 53:1377–1379, 2011; View this article online at wileyonlinelibrary.com. DOI 10.1002/mop.25973

## Abstract A planar monopole antenna is designed for ultra‐wideband applications. A novel feeding structure is proposed to improve the impedance bandwidth. Promising performances are achieved, including wide impedance bandwidth, flat gain, and omnidirectional radiation patterns. Two kinds of band‐
We have designed and fabricated a 5-GHz fully integrated RTD/ HBT VCO using an InP-based technology for the first time. To achieve the wide-tuning range of the VCO, a p-n junction varactor was used in the L-C resonator, which has not been realized in previous works on RTD-based oscillators. As a res
## Abstract This paper presents a compact package, comprising a wideband antenna with a compact spatial‐notch filter, useful for RF applications requiring a high rate of data transfer. Fractal concepts are employed to help reduce the package to almost half the normal size, and to realize a much sha
