โฆ Synopsis
Wide line N.M.R. spectra have been recorded from 90'K for the three dioxonium + salts : n50*+c104 ; H502+Br and 502 SbC16 .
From a second moment analysis in the rigid lattice, external hydrogen bonds are found significantly bent with dOH = 0.991 i for the bromide and 1.009 i for the perchlorate.
For H502+SbC16 , the first motion is a rotation of the water molecules around their bissector axis. Then a second motion which is not correlated with the previous one appears as a rotation of the water molecules around the O-O axis of the central hydrogen bond. Then a third motion either diffusionnal or isotropic reorientation appears. There is no first order phase transition.
For the perchlorate and bromide the first motion destroys the lattice (melting).
