✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A low‐profile 60‐GHz antenna array has been designed, built, and tested. The design uses a circular waveguide radiator for bandwidth, a stripline distribution network for minimum thickness and flexibility, and a waveguide input for interfacing to other components. Boresight gain variations of less than ±1.5 dB were demonstrated for several units over 57–63 GHz. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract The purpose of this paper is to report on a microstrip reconfigurable antenna in the millimeter‐wave range. This antenna has directivity diversity and is based on a four‐element array. An original method is outlined to guarantee matching for each configuration without changing circuit.
use of the printed inverted-F monopole antenna with a parasitic shorted strip, the proposed AiSiP can provide a wide operating bandwidth of 470 MHz centered at about 2450 MHz, allowing it to easily cover the 2.4 GHz band for WLAN operation. Results also indicate that, when the proposed AiSiP is empl
## Abstract A high‐gain wideband low‐profile microstrip patch antenna array is designed and tested. A method for enhancing the impedance bandwidth through the combination of a driven rectangular patch with parasitic elements is proposed. The array, which has 16 elements in a 4 × 4 arrangement, is p
