Given a t-norm T and the corresponding biresiduation \*--\*r. An operation K fits the latter (or shortly, is fitting) if \*--\*r is respected by K in all its arguments. In this paper, the structure of fitting operations is investigated. Special attention is paid to the case of basic t-norms. The con

β¦ Synopsis
Generalizing the construction of weighted quasi-arithmetic means for t-norms and t-conorms, we have proposed a new class of weighted means. This class is extended to weighted triangular norms-based aggregation operators, including weighted uninorms, nullnorms, gamma operators, etc. Note that the normal weighting vectors result in idempotent aggregation operators, however, non-normal weighting vectors can be also accepted.

Aggregation operators based on a fixed t-norm and on suitable transformations of processed data are introduced. A special attention is paid to the class of iterative compensatory operators containing also the classical arithmetic, geometric and harmonic means. Several properties of introduced operat
We introduce the t-norm and discuss the representation of this operator by additive generators. An approach is suggested for including importances in t-norm aggregation taking advantage of this representation of the t-norm. We look at formulations resulting for a variety of t-norms. We then apply th

A number of open problems on triangular norms and related operators was posed during the 24th Linz seminar on fuzzy set theory "Triangular norms and related operators in many-valued logics" held in February 2003. They are collected here, together with some other open problems in this context and wit
This article gives a new approach to aggregating assuming that there is an indistinguishability operator or similarity defined on the universe of discourse. The very simple idea is that when we want to aggregate two values a and b we are looking for a value l that is as similar to a as to b or, in a
