β¦ Synopsis
The temperature and doping dependence of the 2D Hubbard model is studied in the intermediate coupling regime U 4: Strong 2D critical spin fluctuations dominating near half-filling are completely destroyed upon about 14% doping concentration, below which the imaginary part of the self-energy vanishes nearly quadratically in both frequency and temperature, a characteristic feature for the Fermi liquid. As the doping concentration is increased from half-filling, dynamical spin susceptibility shows a change from commensurate to incommensurate structure, leading to a three-peak structure in the spectral function in some region of the Brillouin zone.

We calculate the self-energy of a single hole in the half-filled antlferromaguetic two-dimensional Hubbard model. The minimum energy occurs at k = (7r/2, 7r/2) and is 37% lower than in Hartree-Fock. The hole lifetime tends to infinity for low-lying states, showing that quasiholes are well-defined ex
Naito et al. reported that some non-doped T 0 -214-type compounds drive high-T c superconductivity. The compounds are considered to be metallic since on-site Coulomb energy U is moderate and the Fermi surface is much deformed in these compounds. In order to confirm this picture and extract electroni
