## Abstract The composition of the volatile oil from the leaves of __Lantana camara__ was investigated in detail by GC and GC–MS techniques. __Ξ²__‐Caryophyllene (24.6%), __Ξ±__‐humulene (19.5%), sabinene (8.8%), germacrene D (5.7%) and cubebol (5.7%) were among the principal components. A total of 5
