✦ Synopsis

In both the 90K and 60K phases of YBa2Cu307. 8, the transverse l~agnetoresistance is positive and varies with temperature as T "4, instead of the T "2 behavior predicted by Kohler s rule. This unusual behavior in the MR is deeply related to the anomalous behavior of the Hall angle.

We report a detailed study [,~.] of the magnetoresistance (MR) in YBa2CU3OT. 5 (YBCO) crystals,

We have used non-resonant microwave absorption to study c-axis YBazCuaO7\_6/PrBa2Cu307\_ 6 superlanices and compare the response to a film of similarly grown YBa2Cu307\_~ (YBCO). Near the respective transition temperatures, the response of the supedattice samples and the YBCO film have similar ampli
