Abstract

The conversion of vindoline (II) using S. albogriseolus led to the isolation of several compounds including des‐N~a~‐methyl vindoline (III) in 8–10% yield.

## Abstract Vindoline, a major alkaloid from __Vinca rosea__ ~L~ was subjected to microbiological conversion using __Streptomyces__ cultures. Several new metabolites were isolated and their structures elucidated.
