โฆ Synopsis
The vibronic coupling between quasi-degenerate adiabatic Born-Oppenheimer states is calculated without using the Herzberg-Teller perturbation expansion, and is shown to be strongly dependent on the model chosen.

## Abstract We present a technique for the calculation of FranckโCondon factors and other integrals between vibronic wave functions belonging to different electronic states. The technique is well suited for the determination of the nonadiabatic or spinโorbit couplings related to radiationless decay
