β¦ Synopsis
Published experiment& data on the Raman fine widths of some al bands of methyl iodide and benzene are compared with theoretical predktions of relaxation theories which assume either rapid or slow time scales for intermofecular ffuctuations. The observed variations with density and with mole fraction are found to fit the rapid motion theory with an additional temperature independent core contriiution.

## Abstract The vibrational relaxation and molecular reorientational processes in liquids have been studied in some carbonylβcontaining molecules using the acetonitrile (ACN) solvent. The vibrational and reorientational processes have been studied in correspondence with correlation times. The scree
Proton spin-lattice (T1) and spin-spin (T2) relaxation times have been measured for CH3 protons in a series of paramagnetic transition-meta! acetylacetonatc complexes and the results interpreted in terms of current relaxation theory. r&the correlation time for molecular reorientation, was estimated
