Bringing the posterior pharyngeal wall to the velum by means of a retropharyngeal implant is the way of overcoming velopharyngeal incompetence (VPI) that which disrupts the velopharyngeal mechanism the least. Unfortunately, most of the various methods for accomplishing this have been beset with comp
