CAD for Europe

The Unigraphics CAD/CAM system is being launched in Europe by the McDonnell Douglas Automation Company. The system will run on DEC PDPII, Vax and Data General $250 and S230 machines. Up to eight workstations may be connected. The system has been used in the USA for the design of a variety of products ranging from shoes to heavy duty construction vehicles.
