Turnkey engineering
AD/380 is a turnkey design and drafting system for engineering use. The graphics processor has a 128 kbyte memory, expandible to 2048 kbytes, and a floating-point processor. It also houses the disc and tape drives. The system includes a CC-80 workstation, with a 19in or 25in combination storage-refresh graphics screen, a 9in alphanumeric screen for operator communications, a 240-position menu function keyboard and interchangeable joystick or thumbwheel controls. Various sizes of thermal and electrostatic hardcopy units and a flatbed plotter are available.
The AD/380 is produced in the USA by the Auto-trol Technology Corporation, and is sold and serviced in the UK by Davy Computing.
