## Abstract Twenty‐one patients were investigated with ultrasound for the diagnosis of liver metastases. The most common specific appearnces of liver metastases encountered in this series were echogenic nodules and transsonic areas within an echogenic parenchyma. Nonspecific signs include hepatomeg
