โฆ Synopsis
The process of subcritical crack growth in a center-cracked specimen made of 20!4-T3 aluminum alloy has been analyzed by finite element method. The variations of various fracture parameters in the process of crack growth are presented. A preliminary discussion is made about the general guidances in formulating the governing equation for crack growth.
