Vanadium-Catalyzed anti-Selective Additions of Allenols to Imines. -The addition of allenic alcohols (I) and (V) to aryl imines (II) and (VI), resp., is successfully achieved in the presence of catalytic amounts of VO(O-SiPh3)3. The method is atom--economic and proceeds with moderate to high anti-selectivity depending on the substitution pattern. Aliphatic imines are not suitable substrates for this method. -
