The h~ain features in the electronic spectrum of OCSe in the vaauum ultraviolet region (A = 200-118 nm) are reported and assigned. Bands of overlapping Rydberg series etiibit extiemely complex structure involving spin-orbit coupling (ca. 1800 cm-'), weak excitation of the high frequency stretchi@ vi
