โœฆ Synopsis

h i g h l i g h t s

Topical liposomal Glucantime reduced lesion sizes in BALB/c model of leishmaniasis. The spleen parasite burden was significantly lower in the groups treated with TLG. Oleic acid in liposomal formulation did not increase the effect of the treatment. TLG could be a good candidate for topical treatment of cutaneous leishmaniasis.
