✦ Synopsis
In the framework of systematic research into the use of comptexing agents in polarographic analysis, the complexing properties of some carbohydrates were. investigated. Previous works were devoted to the polarographic, potentiometric, and spectrophotometric behaviour of D-mannitoll-5. In the present paper, the results of a polarographic study of the complexing properties of some carbohydrates are given.
The complexing properties were studied with manganese, which forms sufficiently stable polarographically active complexes with the carbohydrates in its various oxidation states.
