## Abstract A bisimidazoline compound has been prepared as a new chiral solvating agent starting from isophthalaldehyde and (__S__,__S__)β1,2βdiphenylethylenediamine through a singleβstep synthesis. In the presence of one equivalent of this reagent, carboxylic acid racemates show ^1^H NMR chemical
Enantiomers of t-butylphenylphosphinothioic acid were found to be useful chiral solvating agents (CSAs) for 1H-NMR determination of enantiomeric excess (ee) of many classes of chiral organic compounds, such as alcohols, diols, thiols, mercaptoalcohols, amines, amlnoalcohols, hydroxyacids and related
