as the RM magnitude from that equation also describes an equilibrium within the chromatographic spot, and the right-hand sides of all the above mentioned relationships are in fact reciprocally equivalent.

Last but not least: Eqs. ( 18) and ( 19) can well be replaced by the following ones: in this sense that the respective equilibrium constants KA& and GAS, for them derived equal those from Table 4.

All the questions handled in the paragraphs 1) and 2) aimed to stress the mechanistic possibilities of the "binary solutions" model. Thus the utilitarian aspect of this approach seems rather indisputable, and its good agreement with the principal theories of the flat-bed chromatography demonstrated.
