C12H1802 vom Smp. logo. Den gleichen Korper erhielten wir in guter Ausheute beim Kochen von Tricyclo-oder Bicyclo-eksantalsaure wahrend 2 Stunden mit dem 6-fachen Volumen 100-proz. Ameisensaure. Die tiefrote Losung goss man in Wasser, wobei das fast farblose Lacton fest ausfallt. Umkrystallisieren aus wassrigem Alkohol fuhrte zum analysenreinen Korper, der ausgehend von beiden Sauren nach Schmelzpunkt und Mischprobe 103--104° identisch war. C,,H,,O, Ber. C 74,2 H 9,3% Gef. ,, 74,O ,, 9,5:; Die Analysen wurden in unserer rnikrochemischen dbteilung (Leitung Dr. 11. Furter) ausgef uhrt.
