Low stress creep has been investigated in the single phase copper alloys Cu-Xi at 1163ยฐK and a-phase Cu-Sn at 1009ยฐK in the range where the stress directed lattice diffusion of vacancies is expected to control. The absence of a primary creep stage is confirmed and creep rate and stress are shown to
