β¦ Synopsis
An expression for the energy transfer cross section in the distorted-wave tint-order Born approsimation (DWFOBA) is given. Taking the distortion potential, the potential which determines the tnjectories but does not cause energy transfer, to be the Lcnnard-Jones (6-12) potential, the power spectrum of the dipole-dipole energy transferring potential is computed. I: is show-n that the results are in cscellcnt agreement with those obtained using a slmpIc recipe @fen earlier.
