✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A compact three‐way power divider with ultra‐wideband (UWB) performance is presented. The proposed device utilizes a simple and low‐cost broadside‐coupled microstrip‐coplanar waveguide structure. The conformal mapping technique is used to find the dimensions of the device. The simulated and measured output power, return loss, and isolation validate the suitability of the proposed divider for the UWB applications that operate across the frequency band from 3.1 GHz to more than 10.6 GHz. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
