✦ Synopsis
A novel ultra-wideband (UWB) out-of-phase power divider with band-pass filtering response is presented. This power divider is constructed by introducing multilayer microstrip line-slotline coupling structure, which can not only divide/combine the power of microwave signals, but also reject unwanted frequency signals. To verify the features of this proposed out-of-phase power divider, one prototype divider is designed, fabricated, and measured. Good impedance matching, amplitude balance, and out-of-band rejection are obtained both by simulations and measurements. V
