The manner in which the period of 51/i days resulted from last year's observations is apparent. During the latter part of that series the star was 'visible only in early evening, and could only be seen below normal brightness at intervals of 6 periods or 5.03 days, generally, with an occasional interval of 7 periods or 5.87 days; and a combination of these, resulted in the period assigned. X siinilar episode o'ccurred as is known in the cases of Q Librae and U Cephei.
