Museum (Natural History) (with 9 figs .)
On the 2nd June, 1960 MR . D . SCARRATT, University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, as part of a detailed study of the ecology of the animals associated with the holdfasts of seaweeds of the genus Laminaria, collected holdfasts at various depths off the West coast of Scotland near Gallanachmore Farm which is situated on the Mainland side of the Sound of Kerrera, about two miles south west of Oban . The holdfasts were removed from the rocks while covered by plastic bags and the animals were obtained by washing the holdfasts in formalin . Among the nematode species present are two which are here described as new, Bolbella gallanachmorae sp . nov. and Sabatiera scotlandia sp . nov . Bolbella gallanachmorae sp . nov .
