## Abstract A new integrated structure of a two‐element microstrip patch antenna with two feeds for DCS/GPS dual‐band operations is proposed. The radiating element for DCS (1710–1880 MHz) operation is a broadband low‐profile cylindrical monopole top loaded with a shorted square patch, which gives a

Abstract
A new design of two stacked shorted patch antennas integrated on the same microwave substrate for DCS and WLAN dual‐band operations is presented. The two antennas together occupy a small area of 19×28.5 mm^2^, and the heights for the DCS and WLAN antennas are 10 and 5.2 mm, respectively. Details of the measured antenna performances are presented. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 30: 134–136, 2001.

## Abstract A novel dual‐band single‐layer patch antenna that covers the bands of 890–960 MHz for GSM and 1710–1880 MHz for DCS, with VSWR ⩽ 2:1, is presented. This antenna consists of a ground plane, air spacing (without dielectric substrate), and a metal patch layer printed on a thin substrate wi
## Abstract In this article, we present a simple surface‐mountable monopole antenna for dual‐band DCS1800 and 2.4‐GHz WLAN operations. The antenna was obtained by folding a metallic strip into a V‐shape, and soldered to a 50‐Ω microstrip feed line printed on a metallized substrate. The proposed ant
## Abstract This article describes the design, fabrication, and measurement of a novel π‐shaped dual‐band antenna with a shorting pin for 5.2/5.8 GHz wireless local area network (WLAN) systems. To obtain sufficient bandwidth when return loss (RL) < −10 dB, a shorting pin is inserted in the patch and
