## Abstract Chromatic dispersion effect on a bandpass microwave photonic filter is presented using a tunable linearly chirped fiber Bragg grating (LCFBG). The 3‐dB bandwidth of the LCFBG is shifted nonlinearly with fixed centre wavelength to change its chromatic dispersion value. The bandpass notch
