A review of MEDLINE found no Bird GLA, Sheron N, Goka AKJ, Alexander GJ, reports of interaction between this class of drugs and Williams RS. Increased plasma tumor necrosis factor in interferon. Thus basic mechanistic investigations on severe alcoholic hepatitis. Ann Intern Med 1990; 112: interferon now appear to be bearing fruit. These results 917-920. suggest that phase 1 trials of such adjuvant therapy should be undertaken, at least for those patients with progressive HBV disease who have failed to respond to interferon therapy.
