✦ Synopsis
In the title compound, C 27 H 28 NO 9 + ÁCl À , the tris[2-(4-hydroxybenzoyloxy)ethyl]ammonium cation adopts a tripodal conformation with a trifurcated intramolecular N-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bond. The cations are connected via O-HÁ Á ÁCl hydrogen bonds, forming one-dimensional zigzag chains which are further assembled into a three-dimensional network by weak C-HÁ Á ÁO/Cl interactions.
