โœฆ Synopsis

Dry triboelectrostatic separations of ยฏy ash derived from both coal combustion and the combustion of coal mixed with 10 wt% biomass were conducted. Two different types of triboelectrostatic separators ร parallel plate and louvered plate separators ร were used for this study. It is found that the material of construction for the tribocharger in the louvered plate separator affects both the deposition pattern and the quantity of recovery of the separated products. The poor quality of separation for the biomass ยฏy ash studied is probably due to the physical/chemical nature of the biomass ยฏy ash which is signiยฎcantly different from that of coal ยฏy ash.

It was shown that with increasing temperature or increasing oxygen concentration the emissions of NO increase. N20 emissions increase only sl

The main by-product of a saline water beneficiatioun process currently being evaluated by coal-based industries is ettringite (CaizA114(OH)24-(SO4)h S2HzO). The study is aimed to quantify and explain the benefits of using this alkali waste to ameliorate acidic soils, by comparing its effect on plant
