✦ Synopsis
special method of electric charge measurements on single polystyrene particles in a fluidized bed was used. The method consisted in an analysis of the trajectory of particles ejected from the bed into a homogenous electric field by means of a local pneumatic impulse. The fluidized bed was either made of pure poIystyrene particles or modified by humid air or by the addition of fines (aluminium powder or sodium chloride). Some explanation of the obtained results has been offered.
