1444 persons of British nationality living in London, and 294 Caucasians, 258 Negroes, 310 Hispanic persons, and 151 Chinese persons living in New York were tested for glutamate-pyruvate transaminase phenotype. The Gpt1 frequency in the British population was found to be 0.5277, the Gpt2 frequency w
