Abstract
We report on depression of superconducting transition temperature of YBa~2~Cu~3~O~7~ (YBCO) layers, when their thickness is reduced in proximity to ferromagnetic insulating La~0.885~Sr~0.115~MnO~3~ (FIβLSMO) layers in [FIβLSMO*8 u.c./YBCO*n u.c.]~16~ superlattices, where n = 1, 2, 4 and 6 unit cells (u.c.). The thickness of manganite FIβLSMO layers is kept at 8 unit cells. Signature of antiparallel alignment between FIβLSMO layers across YBCO spacer layers was observed. The magnetic field responses of the zero-bias conductance peaks (ZBCP) in tunneling spectra of YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7Γd / La 0:67 Sr 0:33 MnO 3 (YBCO/LSMO) junctions are investigated. Two different responses of the ZBCP are shown. One is insensitive to the field up to 9 T, the other is highly sensitive and
We report resistance/temperature, conductance/voltage and voltage/magnetic field measurements in a range of junctions between collosal magnetoresistive materials and the high temperature superconductor YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7Γd . We identify two forms of behaviour. In one form the resistance of the junction
We report on the preparation and structural characterization of YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7 /La 0:7 Ca 0:3 MnO 3 and La 0:7 Ca 0:3 MnO 3 / YBa 2 Cu 3 O 7 bilayers onto (1 0 0) SrTiO 3 substrates. The samples have been fabricated by sequential dc sputtering processes in high oxygen pressure starting from stochiom
