## Abstract With pure Ti and pure Zr as controls, the corrosion resistance, ion release behavior, and __in vitro__ biocompatibility of Be‐containing Zr~41~Ti~14~Cu~12~Ni~10~Be~23~ bulk metallic glass (BMG) (LM1), Zr~44~Ti~11~Cu~10~Ni~10~Be~25~ BMG (LM1b), and Be‐free Zr~57~Nb~5~Cu~15.4~Ni~12.6~Al~1
The characterisation by "Zr NMR at room temperature is reported for Zr metal (hexagonal close-packed), ZrH2 (tetragonal), ZrC (cubic), ZrCo (cubic), ZQ (monoclinic), ZrQ (3 mol% Y203, tetragonal) and ZrOz (9.3 mol% MgO). The density of states deduced from the Knight shift for zirconium metal agrees
