In the crystal structure of the title compound, 3C 40 H 32 O 2 Á4C 6 H 6 , there are one and a half host molecules and two benzene molecules in the asymmetric unit. The host molecules form a ladder structure via OÐHÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds.
