Electron spin resonance spectra of the lowest excited triplet state of 9,10-anthnquinone are detected in a gass matrix at 77 K using a time-resolved technique. Computer simulation trials of the randomly oriented spin-polarized ESR spectra lead to the postuiare of a wide d~t~b~tion of the zero-field splittins p-eters in the gfsss. The center v&es of the distributions and the popufation differences between the spin sublevels induced by rhe anisotropic intersystem crossin_r are estimated.
